Since 1886, the Locher family has been running their brewery in the Appenzell. & Nbsp region; until 1999 it was banned in Switzerland to produce spirits from potatoes or cereals. After the law in 1999, the Locher brewery took up the production of its own whiskey, which they call Säntis Appenzeller painting. By default, this matures in oak barrels that previously included beer. & Nbsp;
säntis Edition Himmelberg & nbsp; first matured in former beer barrels for 4 years and then received a rehearsal in wine barrels. Filled with 43 & nbsp;% vol. Alcohol, without dye and not cold-filtered. .
taste: & nbsp; fruity with pears, red berries, sweet vanilla, robust malt, dry wood.
