A local farmer named George Connell & Nbsp; founded the Glengoyne Distillery in the southern Highlands in 1833. However, under the name "Burnfoot of Dumgoyne". In 1861 she was renamed Glenguin Distillery. It was only in 1906 that she received the name "Glengoyne" known to us today after the sale to the brothers.
