BUNNAHABHAIN was founded in 1881 by the Greenless brothers on the Scottish island of Islay and means something like "River mouth". The distillery has the biggest trillure on the island and produces on it both whiskey without smoke and with. With an approximate smoke content of 38 ppm, the village fillings are considered rather mildly smoky.
