Of the 10 botanicals, some grow right along the coast of the Isle of Wight in southern Britain.
The flowers and roots, with which the juniper spirit matures for a week, are handpicked. With spring water from the island, the distillate is reduced to drinking strength.
The result is an exceptional small batch gin with citrusy, slightly peppery nuances and a touch of sea breeze, which is best enjoyed neat or as a Mermaid Gin and Tonic.
